'Kissing the Floor' responds to the research question: how can documenting intimacy reveal the inherent utopic queerness of surfaces and spaces?Through resituating intimacy and the boundless serendipities within queer dance floors.
The thesis and video installation examine how glints of togetherness flicker invariably. With light as methodology, the eternal idiosyncrasies of refractions mirror the intangible intimacies that bind and hold... That weave through crowds and sweat-laced limbs.
